What is the measure of success?

I've had over 800 hits from these blogs since their creation and my promotions of them began 2 months ago. Since I don't have a measuring stick to go by I can't really judge whether this is good or not.

The fact that these paid announcements are political in nature causes some animosity in those of a different political view. No matter, they do cause people to turn their heads and react to the message, which is a success in terms of the goals of advertising.

I feel that a good fit for future advertisers would be a couple of non competing restaurants (I could hand out menus, coupons as well.) Also, sales and promotions where name recognition is important would benefit from this type of vocal advertising.

The fact is that there are not many who could do this work today. People are generally too shy, too reserved to sing out confidently, therefore there should be room for me as I can do this expertly. I do like to make my way doing exactly as I please. this makes me happy and gives me joy, which, again in turn, rewards me with good performance in my endeavors.

Meet your Independent Vancouver City Council Candidate: Bud Oracle

I bet this mugshot is on the VPD squad room wall with special instructions.

Yes I am unusual in just about every aspect. I'm not apologizing for my life and its out here in dozens of stories and articles for you to peruse. If you aren't able to figure me out well enough to vote for me from there, I don't wish to trouble you for it.

As I say to people, if it was one or the other I would prefer to be well read/enjoyed, than to be in politics. Yet there is a compelling streak of activism in me which needs to be fed. I do make good decisions and have innovative input on a variety of subjects.

I am beginning to see the light about politics, though. As a former voter/complainer only, I had one perspective, now, being on the target side, I have to re-evaluate my position and afford successful politicians their due. It is a nasty business for people of ethics, because you must always compromise.

Anyways I think that a good leader/politician should be able to re-evaluate their positions constantly and remain malleable using their intelligence and ethical foundation to do the best that they can at any given time...

This is a guaranteed recipe to displease a fair number of people at any given time: Politics. So I will accept this and move on from here.

Simply put, vote for me, because after reading my stories you trust me to do the best in making intelligent decisions on your behalf, on city council.

And please be malleable enough so that I can waffle on the promise to wear my head gear to meetings, if I need to get a more serious face on. I mean let me renege on the promise to wear my Oracle hat to all meetings if I need to gain a more respectable role to serve you better.

Now I've given you a synopsis of what it's like to be a POLITICIAN!

And shown you that I could be one!

Vote for me anyways, please!

When I get cornered in a stressful situation an image such as this gives me perspective and feeds my spirit with past memories.

New Political Advertising in Canada: Streetbarker

There is a new song of politics being heard on the streets of Vancouver. Reach an average of 5000 people per day for $50.00. This is a time honored and extremely effective way to get your messages out minus the sad environmental effects of the shotgun dispersal of leaflets.

Just who is this upstart Marc Boyer?

Well if you want to meet him just call him. A very agreeable fellow, Marc is Driven by his inner convictions and sense of what is right and wrong. He is one of the most intelligent men that I have met lately. He is no phony, rather straight up and honest.

Mark has incurred countless charges in his efforts to make society safer. Link up to his well read website In Creation We Trust. Be sure to watch his videos.

Mr. Boyer is seriously campaigning for City Council! I love singing out his message because I believe in Marc.

Please vote for Marc Boyer and support his efforts in any way you can. He has given selflessly on your, and all Canadians behalf for a long time, please take the time to peruse his intelligent well reasoned arguments.

Welcome to my blog

My business plan is to engage people on the busiest streets of Vancouver with my rich, persuasive, strong voice. Those who wish to advertise their business, message, political point of view, can rent space on my lively sidewalk broadcasts.

I will take up to 5 advertisers in a sing-song repetition and hold out a single item of paper advertising each, for those who wish to take it.

I can stroll on the localities busiest at the time of day that I plan to walk by.

Better than radio, am I able to draw anyone's attention, because I can't be tuned out. A real human voice such as mine has several layers of enticement within it. Even those who don't like the message will find it difficult to erase it from their consciousness.

I hope to be exponentially more effective than the shotgun dispersal of flyers and much more environmentally friendly. Once I have inserted your message into someone's consciousness, it will stay there!

I will guarantee a full 4 hours of effective repetitions or 200 per day, which ever takes longer. Because I carry more than one message I can offer this at at low price per individual advertiser.

Email me below for the details (I have only two spaces left starting 1st September)

This first came to me when I arrived in Vancouver but I had other interests. In the early part of this year i saw a 60 minute piece on Facebook and how they are trying to hook up their website users with a way of doing hard cash business.

I registered streetbarker.com when I conceived of it being a way of allowing an easy interface between local talent streetbarkers making an enthusiastic $40.00 Cdn an hour for a minimum of 4 reps. Anyone anywhere in the world could access their calenders, listen to the daily uploaded recordings of their vocal broadcasting and pay by credit card, to Street Barker, which charges for the logistical services.

One rep on top of the paying customers is of course Streetbarker.com.

This would make it accessible for let's say a travel business, in real time, to access a potential market anywhere in the world where bad weather is happening. It is my version of a cyber/internet/vocal broadcasting interface.

I will soon have a video clip on Utube to verify how effective it is.

Call me, I have a fellow that has done preliminary work on the website and is very reasonable as well as proficient (At least in his dealings with me)

I'm interested in only a fair slice of this project and an outlet for my creative juices to flow.
